Criteria
In todays lesson we covered the criteria that what are thriller openings would be marked on. We watched some old students thriller openings and gave them a level which we thought was appropriate. It was quite a shock to see that we was getting the levels completely wrong...
In this thriller opening I gave it a high-level 2 this is because at first the titling was really affected and it went with the camera shots used and made sense. However after the titling it just didn't really make sense and the sound was quite poor. Overall it got a high level mark because "Evidence of proficiency in the creative use of [technical aspects]".
Overall what I have learnt from this is that its going to be hard to achieve our thriller in how we imagine it will be in our head. As long as we do enough research and planning it could be quite successful, but we need to make sure we follow the criteria in order to achieve a high mark
